How We Grade Our Devices
At ZZE Tech, we believe you should know exactly what you are getting before you buy. Every device that comes through us is thoroughly tested and inspected before it goes anywhere near a product listing. We use a simple grading system so you can choose the condition that matches your budget and what matters most to you.
One thing stays the same across every single grade: all our devices are fully functional. The grade only tells you how a device looks on the outside, not how it performs.
Premium
No marks or signs of wear. Battery 90% or above. Original parts throughout.
Excellent
Faint surface marks only under close inspection. No cracks or dents. Battery 80% or above.
Good
Light scratches or scuffs from normal use. Completely crack-free. Battery 80% or above.
Acceptable
Visible scratches and scuffs. Fully functional and tested. Battery 80% or above.
Refurbished
Professionally restored with quality parts. Fully tested. Battery health stated in the listing.
Premium
Looks and feels like new
This is the top of our range. If you want something that looks brand new but without paying the brand new price, this is the grade for you.
These devices have no visible marks, scratches, or signs of wear anywhere. They go through a careful multi-point inspection and come with a battery health of 90% or above. No parts have been replaced or modified, so what you get is the genuine device, just previously owned.
Excellent
Minimal wear, still looks great
A solid balance between quality and value.
Devices in this grade have had very little use and look the part. You might notice the faintest surface mark if you look closely under direct light, but nothing that stands out in day-to-day use. No cracks, no deep scratches, no dents. Battery health is 80% or above and everything inside is original and untouched.
Good
Light cosmetic wear, full performance
If you want a reliable device at a better price and are not too concerned about minor surface wear, this grade is worth considering.
These devices may show light scratches or small scuffs from normal everyday use. Nothing dramatic, and nothing that gets in the way of how the device works. They are completely crack-free and have passed our full inspection. Battery health is 80% or above.
Acceptable
Visible wear, lowest price
Our most affordable option for buyers who want a working device at the best possible price.
These devices show clear signs of previous use. You will notice scratches, scuffs, and possibly some marks on the housing. They are not going to look pretty, but they work exactly as they should. No cracks that affect usability, battery health of 80% or above, and fully tested before sale.
Refurbished
Professionally restored
Some of our devices are listed as Refurbished. This means they have had professional repair or restoration work carried out, such as a screen or battery replacement, using quality parts. Everything is tested to confirm it works properly and the condition is clearly described in the product listing. Battery health for refurbished devices is always noted where it applies.

- If you want it to look new, go with Premium.
- If you want great quality with a bit more saving, go with Excellent.
- If you are happy with some minor wear in exchange for a lower price, go with Good.
- If you just need it to work and want the lowest possible price, go with Acceptable.
